BLUE LIGHT TRAINING
Ambulance and Emergency Response Training
Blue Light training courses are now essential for all emergency response drivers under Section 19 of the 2006 Road Traffic Act. At Travelsafe-UK, our course is designed to fulfil all current legislative requirements and comply with the DSA Blue Light Driving Guidelines.
Emergency drivers such as Ambulance, Police, Paramedic, Mountain Rescue and other first responders who are eligible to drive vehicles fitted with blue lights all require training and due to the nature of this type of training, Travelsafe-UK would fully research any Company wishing to undertake this training to ensure the appropriate exemptions are in place.
Ideally, all candidates should already hold an Advanced Driver qualification with one of the recognised motoring bodies (ie. RoSPA or IAM) although this training can be included in our Blue Light bespoke training package.
It must be remembered that this type of response driving places great pressure and responsibility on the driver and this is reflected with the in-depth training that Travelsafe-UK offers and the highly experienced trainers we use, all of which are former emergency response drivers with many years experience.

Protective and Evasive Driving Courses are now becoming more and more necessary for many chauffeurs and bodyguards in both the public and private sectors and Travelsafe-UK have some of the leading protective trainers in the UK, who with their vast knowledge and expertise in this field can ensure that your drivers keep their passengers safe at all times.
Using former Police and Military trainers, our technical courses are tailored to the needs of the client. Course duration depends any previous driver training the candidate may or may not have had and how quickly they develop a cool, quick thinking head in pressure situations.
