During the process of delivering training to our clients, the topic of insurance is regularly raised by the client.

Rising insurance premiums seem to be a constant theme.

Travelsafe-UK are delighted to announce that they have recently formed a relationship with one of the UK’s leading independent Insurance Brokers. The insurance brokers are keen to provide an additional service to their client base in the form of driver training. This is with a view to obtaining a more competitive premium from insurers and to expand their client data base.

Online Driver Profiling

Travelsafe-UK is pleased to announce the commencement of their new Online Driver Profiling system Tops©, designed as part of a Degree project with Middlesex University. This system is designed to determine and prioritize training within your company.

SAFED

August 2009

The Dft continue to subsidize van driver training with the SAFED scheme. Current subsidy remains in place for the foreseeable future See www.safed.org.uk

Travelsafe-UK continue to provide SAFED training nationwide. Our latest contract saw us deliver training to one of the country’s largest Universities.

COTSWOLD GEOTECHNICAL HOLDINGS

Cotswold Geotechnical Holdings will be involved in the first ever corporate manslaughter prosecution, taking place in Bristol Crown Court in February 2010.

The company has been charged with offences under the Corporate Manslaughter & Corporate Homicide Act 2007 as well as breaches of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.

In addition charges have been levelled at a company director in relation to common law manslaughter.
