The van driver training, awareness and manoeuvring sessions are designed to run alongside our SAFED for vans training to provide an all round service for all van drivers.
Most companies have valued employees who are essential to the successful running |
of the company, but who have little or no experience in driving vans. Travelsafe-UK can ensure that your key personnel feel comfortable and confident when transferring from cars to large vans, concentrating on safe handling, reversing and maneuvering.
Our courses look at the techniques required for loading and unloading, parking and in particular, how to deal simply and safely with the restricted view in most panel vans. Loading weight limits and the subsequent altered handling characteristics of the vehicle are also dealt with.
Travelsafe-UK can run van driver induction courses for the novice driver and van driver interview assessment which can run alongside your usual recruitment process. Course duration can last from between one and three days depending on your requirements. For the more experienced drivers we can provide remedial courses to improve speed awareness which last for one day.
