RoSPA Advanced Driving Courses & Tests
This is the highest advanced qualification available to civilians.
To pass this test you must drive for approx. 1.5 hours over a demanding route that covers a variety of different road situations (Often including motorways/dual carriageways/fast A roads and encompassing a suitable commentary drive.) A manoeuvre will also be included. It can be undertaken in different venues, normally local to you.
A differing style is required namely IPSGA as opposed to MSM.
Travelsafe have trained many up to the standard, and the last 7 trained ( As of May 08) have all achieved gold standard. We know the standard and are able to pass the knowledge on, using ‘The system’.
Phil Sunderland is in charge of final assessments being a retired examiner, it is recomended companies try to get their employees up to this standard wherever possible.
