Company Car Driver Training - Improving fleet efficiency
Company Car Driver Training is now essential to get the most out of your employees abilities and your vehicles. TravelSafe’s defensive driving courses are designed to ensure efficiency from your company car fleet.
After risk assessing your drivers, our trainers will target their training to the drivers who are have the highest risk and who can gain you the best improvement in efficiency.
Company Car Driver Trainers:
All of our trainers are highly experienced within their field and the majority were trained in-house by Excelsior training. (A Driving Standards Agency accredited course provider) The Excelsior Fleet Diploma. See www.dsa.gov.uk under ‘driving instructors and trainers’.
At TravelSafe-UK we only use the best trainers - grade 5 or above (grade 6 is the highest grade) and all of them hold the DSA Fleet Trainer’s qualification. We don’t stop there though - we use only the highest qualified trainers, with RoSPA, DIAmond and IAM advanced drivers and specialist vehicles and skills trainers.
Our trainers are located across the UK allowing us to provide nationwide coverage and a professional service.
Assessment and Training Sessions:
Assessments include full reports of what was covered during the training and are followed up by a full report which includes both recommendations for company policy and future training. Whichever training package you choose, we will ensure that it fully satisfies your need to ‘take reasonable steps’ to ensure the safety of your employees and any others who may be put at risk by your work related driving.
Duration of training courses depends on the individual driver and their risk profile.
Every member of staff who drives as part of their work is covered by these risk assessments. Even the office assistant who nips out to get a stamp is considered to be driving for work, it doesnt have to be the company representative!
