LGV
LGV Training - Category C1 Training
LGV training (Light Goods Vehicle Training) initially requires a driver assessment and a written report of the candidate’s performance. TravelSafe-uk offer both continuing assessment and training in addition to potential new lgv driver screening.
Where necessary TravelSafe-uk will provide training to ensure that every driver develops the necessary skills to meet the current DSA standard. As part of the LGV course Travelsafe offer training on the following elements:
- Advanced safety and planning techniques
- Advanced hazard recognition
- Eco driving
- Parking and legality
- Reversing
- Weight Limits and loading responsibility
- Coupling/Uncoupling
- Highway code / Road traffic law / Construction and use regulations
- Banksman training
